Learning with Scientists and Science Educators

Approach

I have identities as a scientist, an educator, a learning scientist, an anti-oppression activist, a climate activist, and a design based systems analyst. Together, these identities allow me to look across traditional silos of work in the world and dream about how things could be. They allow me to reach out to folks that traditionally have not worked together due to historic breaches in trust or simply lack of awareness. My work in this area has seemed chaotic to many but to me it is part of the larger effort to ensure that justice in science learning builds a more just and sustainable world in which climate change is acknowledged and addressed. I strongly take the stance that we can only truly solve the climate crisis if we are willing to find ways to work together to build a more just future in relation to one another.
